Simba

About Simba

Please meet Simba who arrived with us a few weeks ago. Poor Simba was booked in to be put to sleep as his owner was being moved to a care home, obviously they wouldn’t allow pets and no family would step in. So we offered him a lifeline with hours to spare…and here he is, safe and sound!!

Simba was described to us as a 5y.o Staffie cross but I feel he has a bit of sight hound in there somewhere! He’s an extremely handsome boy and has the biggest smile I’ve ever seen on a dog. He’s previously lived with a dog and is dog friendly but he does get extremely over excited! He is definitely better with calmer female dogs. As far as we’re aware he’s not cat tested.

Simba is strong on the lead but that will improve with training. He loves his offlead time in our secure field, chasing a ball being a great favourite of his!

Simba is a super friendly chap who adores everyone he meets. He’d suit children over 10y.o, simply because he is a big bouncy dog.

He loves long walks and plenty of exercise

Simba is extremely grateful for the second chance he’s been given and what would make his life complete would be a comfy sofa and a human to share it with
