Terms of use
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Rescue Pet Finder ("we", "us"). By using this site you agree to them. You can reach us through the contact page.
What the site is
A free directory of animals that UK rescues are rehoming. Each listing comes from the rescue's own website and links back to it. We are not a rescue, we don't rehome animals, and we aren't part of any adoption: that's between you and the rescue, on the rescue's terms.
Accuracy
Listings are checked daily, but an animal may have been reserved or rehomed since, and details can be out of date or wrong. The rescue's own page is the one to trust. Please check with the rescue before you rely on anything here.
Who owns what
Each animal's description and photos belong to the rescue that published them. We show the photos directly from the rescue's own listing and don't copy them without the rescue's permission.
If you own a photo shown here and didn't agree to the rescue using it, tell us through thecontact page and we'll stop showing it within one business day.
The collection of listings as we've gathered, checked and organised it, and our own text, guides, code and design, belong to us. You're welcome to use the site, share links to it, and share individual listings. You may not copy, scrape, republish or reproduce the collection, or a substantial part of it, by hand or by automated means, without our written agreement. To ask for one, use the contact page. Search engines may index the site as our robots.txt allows.
Other websites
We link to rescues' websites and other sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, their terms or how they handle your data.
Our liability
The site is provided free and as it is. We aren't liable for any loss that comes from relying on a listing, from a dealing with a rescue, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Your data
About our data explains what we hold, why and for how long, and your rights.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, though if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
