Autumn
Wallace Kennels Dog Rescue
About Autumn
She was taken in to H&J Vets by the finder last week with a very swollen and infected face. We do not know if this was from dog fights or catching rabbits/rodents etc but what we do know is she is painfully thin and will be scarred for life on her face and there are also some bodily scars which could be from getting caught on barbed wire fencing or some other means.
Whilst Autumn recovered at the vets we had her s payed, vaccinations have been started and she is microchipped. Flea and worming treatment has also been given. She is around 3 1/2 years old.
We have found her to be a very friendly girl who is happy to go out for walks with our other sighthounds and also stops to say hello to other dogs when passing in the mornings to go to her day run.
She is clean in her kennel so would say house trained although may have the odd accident until a new routine has been established.
Pretty certain that cats and other small furries will be a no go.
Very gentle taking treats from you.
Travels well.
Walks nicely and to heal.
We believe that Autumn will be fine with children from age 5+ due to her temperament but mad 5-10 minute zoomies do need to be taken in to consideration with smaller in stature children.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.
We would like to see Autumn go to a home either as the only dog or with a placid neutered male sighthound for company and play after careful introductions and one where she is not going to be left for more than a few hours by herself.
