About Malia
Malia is a medium sized crossbreed aged around two years old. Failed cat testing. Will need another steady dog in full time residence in her forever home. Respectful children 12 plus. Malia and her mother were rescued from a crowded shelter in Romania. Her mother came to the UK before her and has since been rehomed. Malia was very shy and distrustful on arrival due to lack of social interaction in her early life. Malia has been in her foster home for just over a month, and as each day passes, more of her gentle, sweet and slightly quirky personality is beginning to shine through. Malia can appear hand-shy and skittish, and she can sometimes be nervous about making the first move. But secretly, she loves a fuss! Her affection is quiet and gentle, and if she’s feeling a little lonely, her tiny whimpers will let you know that she’d quite like some company. Malia is very much a girl who needs a little patience and reassurance, but she is beginning to play with the other dogs in her foster home and is discovering that life can be fun! She also loves spending time in the garden, especially when you’re there with her. On walks, Malia is an absolute pleasure. She walks beautifully and gently on the lead, happily staying by your side. She may not be the dog who rushes straight up to introduce herself, but beneath her initial nervousness is a sweet soul with so much love to give. She just needs someone kind enough to give her the time and patience to let her personality fully blossom.
