Delilah is a stunning, big-hearted ~18-month-old Labrador X who has stolen the hearts of our entire team with her playful spirit and incredible intelligence. This gorgeous girl picks up new tricks in no time and thrives on positive reinforcement – she's a quick learner who loves earning praise and treats from the people she trusts - once she bonds with her humans,

Delilah is affectionate, loyal, and genuinely sweet. She enjoys cozy snuggles, fun play sessions, and focused one-on-one attention that makes her feel secure. She's the type of dog who will follow you around the house, light up when you come home, and reward your patience with deep, unwavering devotion.

Coming from a tough start before her rescue, Delilah is still building confidence in the wider world – she can feel overwhelmed by new people, unfamiliar situations, or sudden loud noises. She's most comfortable in calm, predictable environments and does best with gradual introductions.

For her safety and comfort around other dogs or in busy public spaces, she wears a muzzle happily during outings (she's fully muzzle-trained and accepts it without issue). She will need to be the only animal in the home, as she's not comfortable sharing space with other pets and she'll need walks in quieter areas where she can avoid unexpected encounters with dogs.

Delilah may show some anxiety when left alone for longer periods (like chewing or restlessness), so her ideal home will include structure, such as crate training, enrichment toys, or gradual alone-time practice to help her feel secure.

She's a strong, energetic young dog who needs experienced, understanding owners in an adult only home who are committed to continuing her positive training journey – think patient leadership, consistency, and plenty of mental stimulation through games, puzzles, and short training sessions. In return, you'll gain a devoted companion who grows more confident and joyful every day with the right support.
