About Raymond
Our calm, gentle, friendly boy Raymond is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved after spending most of his life so far in the racing world. Our sweet boy loves to snuggle up in a cosy spot for a nice snooze after his morning walk, he loves to have a quick run around in a secure area and also walks really well on the lead. Raymond is generally calm around other dogs and is used to walking with greyhounds but prefers to spend most of his time with his human friends. He settles well in our marketing office so could make a great office dog.
As an ex racing greyhound Raymond can be reactive to small animals such as rabbits and squirrels and may bark but is quite responsive to his handler and will move away when asked. He would benefit from ongoing training and a suitable outlet to satisfy his prey drive.
Raymond would benefit from having an enclosed garden where he can run around off lead. We are unsure how he feels about being left alone at home but he settles well in the kennel, adopters should consider building up time left alone slowly.
Due to his limited experience of the world Raymond will need an adult only home. He should be the only animal in the home but could walk with suitably matched dogs.
