About Freddie

Meet Freddie our fun filled frenchie with lots of love to give. He is very playful and affectionate with the people he trusts. He loves a run around but also enjoys a nice walk on lead and generally takes everything in his stride. He is very clever and picks up training quickly. Freddie likes other dogs and has made a few friends here at the centre.

Freddie is nervous of new people and children and needs someone who can advocate for him and ensure a hands off approach at first. He is generally not reactive and can be calm near new people but prefers to only be handled by his close friends. An understanding of dog body language ideally with experience of French Bulldogs would be beneficial but you will also receive full support from our behaviourists on site as well. Any potential adopter will need to be prepared to meet Freddie multiple times before taking him home.

We believe Freddie would do better with a quieter home due to finding it difficult to interact with new people. He will need a private outside space where he can toilet freely without having to apply walking equipment regularly, he is not toilet trained so will need patience and consistant training to support him with this. He cannot be rehomed to the SO16 area.

Freddie must live in an adult only home with no visiting children as he is frightened of them. He could live with small animals who were kept separately. Freddie should be the only dog in the home but could make doggie friends for walks.
