Lady

About Lady

Meet Lady! This sweet girl came to Millbrook searching for a fresh start, and she is ready to find a cozy couch and a loving forever home.

About Lady

Sweet and Gentle: Lady can be a little shy when meeting new people, but her gentle heart shines through quickly—especially if you offer a tasty treat!

Playful Spirit: She absolutely loves chasing after toys (though bringing them back is still a work in progress).

Social Butterfly: Lady enjoys meeting other dogs and socializing.

Cuddle Bug: Her absolute favorite activity is curling up on the sofa next to her human for snuggles.

Ideal Home and Training

Family : Lady could live with children 10 years and over as long as they are used to lively dogs and undestand she can be shy at times.

Dog Friendly: She could live as a second dog with the right companion who was aslo neutered! Introductions will need to be done at the centre to ensure it's a great match.

Building Confidence: She would thrive in dog training classes to help boost her confidence, practice her manners, and work on housetraining.

Settling In: Because she is learning how to navigate home life, she will need a patient owner who can gently introduce her to everyday household noises and gradually build up her alone time. She will need someone based at home a good part of the day with time she is left built up gradually as she settles in.

Private garden: As Lady can be shy she will need a good-sized, secure, private garden where she can burn off energy safely. She will need to be kept on lead in public areas until bonded with her new family.

Lady has so much love to give and just needs a supportive environment to help her blossom.
