Meet Bear 🐾

Bear is a handsome, affectionate German Shepherd who loves nothing more than being close to his people. He is a very snuggly boy who enjoys plenty of fuss and attention, and he certainly appreciates his home comforts, especially relaxing on the sofa or curling up on the bed.

Bear knows all of his basic commands and has excellent recall when off lead, making him a pleasure to enjoy walks with. He can be reactive towards other dogs when passing them on lead, but away from this he generally enjoys the company of other dogs and loves nothing more than playing with them. Bear has previously lived happily alongside a female dog.

Bear is looking for an adult only home where his needs can be understood and where he can have the time, space and attention he deserves. Sadly, since the arrival of a baby into his previous home, Bear has shown signs of feeling uncomfortable around the baby, including growling. For this reason, they felt that an adult-only home would be the safest and most suitable environment for him.

Bear can be anxious meeting some new people, he will need plenty of time to get to know his new owners. He is a protective boy, typical German Shepherd.

His ideal home would be with experienced owners who can appreciate his individual personality, provide him with plenty of companionship and continue to help him thrive.
