Meet our beautiful Bonnie!

Bonnie can be a very fun and affectionate girl once she is confident and has built a bond with you, but it can take her a little while when meeting new people due to how she was treated in her previous life. She’s going to need a patient and understanding owner who is willing to dedicate their time to loving Bonnie and helping her learn to adjust.

Bonnie is a very intelligent dog and has learnt many things during her time at the centre. She would love to have a new owner who will continue on her ongoing training, as well as slowly introducing her to to new stimuli that she may currently struggle with.

She has enjoyed the occasional day out/home visit various members of staff and has done very well in new settings – going nice and slow has been key with her! She’s especially enjoyed these times out, and has been taking up plenty of space on the sofa. She’s also been clean in the home and has asked to go out whenever she needs to toilet.

She is an active and intelligent dog who would thrive participating in activities such as hiking and man trailing or other scent work. She would also likely enjoy other reward-based training such as hoopers or obedience/freestyle.

A quiet, adult only household in a rural setting would be ideal for Bonnie, however all applications will be considered.
