About Macy

I’ve come on leaps and bounds during my time in foster care, and now my lovely personality is really starting to shine! I’m an affectionate, goofy and sweet-natured girl who loves being around my people. In fact, I quickly became my foster family’s little shadow, following them from room to room to make sure I didn’t miss out on anything!

My favourite place to be is curled up beside my humans on the sofa or bed, preferably tucked under a blanket. I’m a big fan of my daily naps, but I also love getting out for walks and get very excited when it’s time for an adventure.

I’m a clever girl who enjoys learning and spending time with my people. I can sit, lie down, give paw and wait patiently when there’s something tasty on offer! I’ve also made fantastic progress around food, although I’ll still be tempted to help myself if anything is left unattended, so I’ll need a family who can keep food safely out of reach.

I’m a playful girl who loves chewing bones, carrying toys around and taking them apart. Squeakers, beware! I can get very excited when I spot other dogs, as I’d love to say hello to everyone. Calmly giving other dogs space works well, and I’ll need continued guidance to help me manage my enthusiasm. I’m also a bit of an escape artist, so care is needed around open doors.

Macy is currently in the care of Sheffield RSPCA, and we’re delighted to be supporting them in finding her forever home.
