About Koda
Koda is looking for an adult-only home. He could potentially live with other dogs, but no cats or small animals.
Koda is a lovely, sensitive lad who seems to find the shelter environment a little overwhelming.
He much prefers being out and about, away from his kennel and exploring his environment. He can be quite aloof with new people and isn’t too interested in interacting with them, however once he’s familiar with you, he can be quite an affectionate lad!
This handsome gent has enjoyed meeting other dogs whilst in our care, he is always happy to say hello and is polite and friendly chap with his canine companions.
Koda can be a little worried about physical handling, particularly with those he isn’t yet comfortable with, so he’ll need a family who can respect his boundaries and build his trust at a pace he is comfortable with. He’s always been a very well-behaved boy though, even when feeling a little unsure!
Being a slightly older chap, Koda can be a little stiff and so needs a family who can offer him appropriate exercise and mental stimulation, to ensure he is kept happy and healthy in both body and mind.
This lovely boy has been a pleasure to get to know during his stay here at the shelter. He has always been beautifully behaved, even when he’s been feeling a little worried. He so deserves to find a forever home where he can truly relax and enjoy the safety, comfort and love of his forever family.
