About Amber

Amber is a sweet lurcher with a huge heart and an even bigger love for life. Currently being fostered in Rainham, Kent, she is searching for a loving family who can offer her the stability and understanding she deserves. At less than a year old, Amber enjoys making the most of every day. She will need a secure garden where she can safely stretch her legs and play. Amber absolutely adores other dogs and would happily spend her days making new canine friends. She is particularly fond of chasing a ball and has an impressive turn of speed that could rival many Flyball dogs. She also enjoys regular swimming sessions and trips out in the car. Amber is recovering well from hip surgery and continues to make excellent progress with her rehabilitation. While she can be a little nervous when meeting new people, her affectionate personality quickly shines through. She loves cuddles on the sofa with her favourite people, and will settle happily while someone works from home, with just the occasional bit of fuss and attention. With patience and consistency Amber continues to build her confidence and overcome her anxieties. She is a bright, loving young dog with bags of potential. Amber is looking for active adopters who are home for much of the day and can continue her training and rehabilitation. A home with other friendly dogs would be a bonus, as she thrives on canine companionship.
