Acorn
Kent Greyhound Rescue
Acorn lives with a foster carer, so you meet Acorn after applying, not at the rescue's address.
Acorn is no longer on Kent Greyhound Rescue's website. We noticed on 28 October 2026. That usually means they've found a home.

About Acorn
Manner / Notes: Active Home Needed
Acorn has been out and about with our volunteers, and he is already showing us what a lovely little character he is!
At around 2 years old, Acorn is roughly whippet-sized lurcher, very affectionate and definitely a snuggle boy! As you can see from his pics, a human cuddle is never too far away.
Because he’s so young and a lurcher, Acorn is active dog who will need a home that enjoys getting out for nice long walks. He will love to get all the good sniffs in, and is looking forward to settling into his forever home and learning about the world.
Acorn is an all-round lovely, affectionate little boy who enjoys being out and about with his people. He will need to be homed with someone around for most of the day while he settles into home life.
His future home will need a very secure garden which he can play in. Learn more about what lurchers need from a forever home on our website.
