Sunny is a lovely six-year-old greyhound who’s currently living in a foster home. He’s a sweet-natured, gentle boy who’s now ready to find his forever family — somewhere with a comfy bed, plenty of cuddles, and nice walks.

Sunny is a laid-back boy who’s happy with life and content to snooze the day away, whether that’s in the garden or curled up on your sofa. He loves peaceful walks in quiet places, especially long countryside strolls where he can take everything in at his own pace.

He’s settled beautifully into foster life and is enjoying his home comforts while waiting for the perfect match.

Sunny has a European pet passport, which means he can be rehomed outside the UK. Potential adopters must be able to travel to us to meet and collect him, as we don’t transport or deliver dogs. We’re also happy to arrange a home check in your area prior to adoption.

In these early days, it’s your responsibility to keep Sunny safe by keeping his world small and calm. Take things slowly and gently build up to more exciting experiences – too much, too soon can be overwhelming and may make the adoption harder for him.

Please remember to stay calm and relaxed throughout this settling-in period. If you feel anxious or stressed, Sunny is likely to feel the same. Greyhounds are incredibly sensitive, emotional souls and are very good at picking up on our moods.

Sunny is currently living in a foster home, but before that he spent time in kennels, so some everyday household sights and sounds may still feel new, confusing or a little worrying for him. He will need gentle introductions to things like hoovers, TVs and busy home life, along with plenty of reassurance as he learns that he is safe. With time, patience and understanding, Sunny will blossom into a wonderful companion, ready to share life’s adventures with you.
