Despite his distinguished salt-and-pepper muzzle, Spiral has only just turned four! This handsome lad has spent time in a home and shown us what a sweet, affectionate companion he can be. He forms strong bonds with his people and loves nothing more than being close to them.

Personality - If you're looking for a cuddly greyhound, Spiral could be your perfect match. He loves curling up beside you on the sofa, leans in for fuss, and has a charming habit of gently rubbing his face against the people he trusts. His tail seems to have a wag of its own and springs into action whenever someone he loves reappears.

During a recent weekend overnight stay, Spiral settled well once he'd had a chance to take in his new surroundings. He happily relaxed near his bed, was unfazed by everyday household noises and followed his foster family around simply to make sure everyone was together and safe.

Home Life - Spiral is clean indoors, sleeps soundly through the night, and isn't destructive when left alone. On his foster stay he slept right through until morning, politely letting his foster carers know when he wanted to go outside.

He does like to know where his people are and can be a little unsettled if everyone disappears from sight, so he'll need a patient home willing to help him build confidence and independence. In return, you'll gain an incredibly loyal companion who genuinely enjoys being part of family life.

He can guard food and toys, so he's looking for a home with children aged 10+ who can respect his space and boundaries.

Out and About - Spiral is a lovely, steady walker who strolls beautifully by your side without pulling. He enjoys exploring at a relaxed pace and pays little attention to most dogs he encounters. During his foster stay, he calmly ignored passing dogs and merely glanced at a cat snoozing on a driveway.

While he can coexist with calm, respectful dogs, he's not keen on boisterous dogs rushing into his space and would likely be happiest as the only dog in his home.

Ideal Home - Spiral is looking for a calm home where he can enjoy plenty of companionship, cuddles and a predictable routine. He has so much love to give and will make a wonderfully devoted friend for someone who appreciates a gentle, affectionate greyhound who simply wants to be close to his people.
