About Richie

Child friendly: still being evaluated

Gets on with other dogs: Yes

Pet friendly: unknown

Richie handled his first off-site walk and home visit with the temperament of a lovely, albeit slightly nervous, dog. While he is still adjusting to the world, he shows excellent potential.

He needed a little assistance getting into the boot but travelled calmly. He generally walks well but loves to zig zag on his "sniffari" He was a "superstar" when encountering other dogs, remaining calm and indifferent even when a loud, energetic dog attempted to engage him.

Richie was lucky to have a visit to the home of two of our volunteers. They said, "Initially hesitant to enter the house from the garden, he gradually built his courage with each attempt, eventually coming inside for a fuss.

Richie is a sweet dog who is simply overwhelmed by new experiences. With continued outings and home visits, he is expected to settle in and reveal his naturally friendly and affectionate personality."

Great start Richie, we know you'll get there. If you'd like to meet Richie and see him blossom into a wonderful family pet, please get in touch.
