About Jasper

Jasper loves long walks and would make the perfect adventure/hiking buddy. He can be strong on the lead but can walk nicely and engages well. Jasper often goes off on adventures with some of his dedicated carers and loves his daytrips! He travels perfectly in the car for fair distances.

As your typical Malinois, Jasper is super smart, he knows loads of tricks and is very advanced with scent work, he just loves to learn new things! He would love a home that can carry on his scent work or maybe take up man-trailing or another Malinois specific sport to keep his active brain busy. Jasper loves kongs, chews, puzzles and enrichment basically anything to keep his brain occupied but in his down time he is a super cuddly giant lapdog when indoors.

Jasper has been an absolute superstar with some of our dogs at the sanctuary. He has got some firm dog friends at the so we feel he could potentially live with another shepherd/Malinois/high energy large breed dog that would be equally match in energy levels, pending successful introductions/meets.

For Jasper we are looking for a quiet home that has Shepherd/Malinois or similar high energy breed experience. Jasper is a firm favourite at the sanctuary and we are all hoping that his forever family is about to find him.
