About Honey

Meet Honey, a delightfully dramatic 3 year old Beagle with personality for days and a heart full of love. True to her hound heritage, Honey is completely ruled by her nose, though she will gladly show off her brilliant recall as long as you have the high-value treats to prove it is worth her while. Once she knows and trusts you, her favourite place in the world is curled up right beside you on the sofa, where she will happily keep you company while snoring remarkably loudly. Honey takes a little time to warm up to new people and is naturally wary of men and folks wearing hoods. On walks, she is not afraid to speak her mind and can be a bit vocal if someone catches her off guard or if another dog barks in her direction. While squeaky toys take a little gentle encouragement before she gets curious, she absolutey adores playing fetch. Her absolute favourite game, however, is “go find it,” where you scatter treats for her to put that legendary Beagle nose to work hunting down hidden treasure. Because Honey suffers from separation anxiety, she needs a home where someone will be around for the majority of the day to keep her company. In return for a patient, understanding owner who can offer reassurance during her cautious moments, Honey will reward you with endless affection, joyful games, and a cosy, affectionate companion who makes her presence delightfully known
