Meet Eric, a sweet and gentle Shih Tzu with an abundance of affection to give and a heart ready to love again. Eric is searching for a fresh start after the heartbreak of losing his devoted owner, a tragic loss he has sadly had to face twice in his lifetime. Because of this, his next step needs to be the final one, a stable, dedicated forever home where he can feel truly secure for the rest of his days. This endearing little boy is a shadow in the best possible way, thriving when he is right by your side and fully included in the daily routine. He adores company, welcomes visitors with open arms, and insists on spending his nights sleeping comfortably right on his owner’s bed. Because he is accustomed to constant companionship and is not used to being left alone, Eric requires a household where someone will be home for most of the day to keep him company. Eric brings a joyful, easy going energy to everyday life. He is a fantastic little walker who genuinely looks forward to getting out and exploring, though he is just as happy returning home to indulge in two of his absolute favourite things, a good meal and a delicious Marley Bone. He currently lives comfortably alongside another dog, meaning he could happily share his new space with a friendly canine companion, provided it is the right match.
