Hiya! I’m Sheeran, a big puppy, and if you’re looking for a quiet little wallflower, you might want to keep scrolling! If, however, you fancy a bouncy bundle of fluff, fun and just a smidge of mischief, then I think we’re going to get along famously!

I’m a friendly, happy-go-lucky boy who absolutely LOVES meeting people. New friends? Yes, please! Fuss and attention? Even better! I likes to throw myself into life with all four paws… sometimes quite literally. I’m playful, affectionate and always keen to get involved in whatever is going on. I do get rather excited sometimes, and my enthusiasm can spill over into a bit of jumping and mouthing, so I’ll need someone who can help me learn my manners as I grow into a big, grown-up boy.

I’m a fan of toys, especially the squeaky ones. Although, someone did introduce me to a honky chicken recently, and I have to say, I was less than impressed. What on earth was that about?! I wasn’t quite sure what to make of that strange thing! I much prefer a soft toy. I also enjoy being brushed and will happily lean right into you for a good groom. Just don’t be surprised if I suddenly decide the brush is actually a toy and grooming time becomes playtime. I do like to keep you on your toes.

Other dogs? OH. MY. DOG. I LOVE THEM! If there’s a chance of a good old run around, count me in! I can get rather carried away when I spot a dog on lead, so I might bark, bounce and try to launch myself over for a playdate. Apparently, not every dog appreciates my enthusiastic approach. Honestly, I’m just trying to make friends! If I’m going to have a canine brother or sister, I’d love a tolerant, playful pal who enjoys a bit of rough-and-tumble as much as I do. I’ll also need some help learning that we can’t say hello to absolutely EVERY dog we see. Rude, I know, but apparently there are rules.

Now, about my walking skills… well, let’s just say I’m a work in progress! I like to zigzag about, pull towards exciting things and occasionally bounce upwards when something catches my attention. Walking in a straight line is clearly a terribly boring concept. A well-fitted harness and some patient training will help me learn to keep all four paws on the ground and walk nicely beside you. I’m a clever boy, but I’ll need you to help me figure out how to be a little less full of beans when we’re out and about.

I’m also a bit of a canine vacuum cleaner and will try to eat just about anything I can get my paws on, so you’ll need to keep tempting things safely out of my reach! apparently not everything is suitable for canine consumption. Who knew?

So, what am I looking for? An active home with people who love a bit of silliness, enjoy getting out and about, and understand that I’m still a young puppy in a rather large, fluffy body. I need someone willing to put time into my training, help me learn good manners, keep my busy brain occupied and teach me how to turn my enthusiasm down from eleven to, say, a seven!

I’ve got bags of potential, a whole lot of love to give and enough personality to fill a house. I won’t be a perfectly behaved gentleman overnight, but with patience, consistency and positive training, I’m ready to learn.
