About Sky

Sky may be turning 9 at the end of this year, but she’s anything but slowing down. She’s a high‑energy, joyful girl who loves nothing more than getting out for walks and spending time with her favourite people. She brings a spark to every outing and thrives on being part of your day.

She can be a bit of a puller on the lead, simply because she’s excited to get going and explore. With regular exercise and a little training, this will settle nicely — she’s bright, eager, and more than capable of learning.

Sky prefers gentle handling. Although she comes across full of bravado, she’s actually a little insecure when it comes to being touched and needs calm, steady reassurance. Once she trusts you, she relaxes beautifully and shows her sweet, affectionate side.

Sky would prefer to be an only pet in the home, and she requires an adult‑only household where her boundaries and sensitivities will be understood and respected. She enjoys her own space and wants her humans all to herself — a typical Akita girl who knows exactly what she likes.

She’s ready for a home that understands her breed, values her energy, and will enjoy those lively walks and quiet moments together.
