About Ozzy

Active Home & Needs Training · Dog Free Home Needed · No Cats · No Children · Secure Garden Needed · Vaccinated & Neutered

Poor Ozzy is on the hunt for his dare we say fifth home - and that's at least 5, there may be more as a pup we don't know about 🙁 - but we are hoping and praying this is his final and forever home!!!

Ozzy originally came into us as a stray after a gentleman was offered to buy him at a park, knowing he couldn't keep him he wanted him brought to safety so took him to a pound which is when he then came to us! He was then rehomed but was returned due to one of the owners being allergic to him, he then went out again but was brought back as an elderly relative had to move into the home due to medical reasons so with carer's/nurses in and out it would have been to much for him (as he for them) so was returned, he was then rehomed again but is now sadly looking for a new home due to his OTT behaviour with the male owner in the home.

The family who currently have him have worked with our behaviourist to help combat the behaviour so we know it can be tackled, he just gets far too overexcited and overly attached to the male in the home once back from a walk that it ends up Ozzy jumping up/mouthing/clawing from gripping on however if he is asked to go into his crate upon return for a walk, allows to settle and then comes out the behaviour is far easier to manage should it rear it's head.

Aside from this he is a fun, loving dude who we all absolutely adore here at the kennels but sadly he didn't like being here, he gets very stressed so we are hoping that we can find him a home before he has to come back into kennels!!

This is what his owner has to say about the handsome dude:

Meet Oz. ❤️

22kg of Frenchie, Belgian Malinois, bulldog breeds… and apparently a little German Shepherd thrown in for good measure.

Or, in simpler terms: a very large puppy who has absolutely no intention of growing up. 😂

Oz is clever, affectionate, energetic and full of personality. He loves walks, adventures, learning new things, tummy rubs and a good chew. He knows his basic commands and is a brilliant traveller.

He is also, shall we say, a project with personality.

Oz needs an experienced owner who understands energetic, intelligent dogs and is happy to continue his training and behaviour work. He needs a calm home, no children and no other pets, ideally with one person who can become his special human.

And if you leave your phone, tea towel, remote control or bedding within reach…

Well… Oz believes everything in the house is technically a chew toy. 😂

He isn’t the dog for everyone — but for the right person, we genuinely think he could be an incredible companion.

If you like your dogs calm and predictable… probably keep scrolling.

If you like your dogs clever, hilarious, adventurous and just a tiny bit bonkers…

Oz might be your boy. ❤️🐾
