About Bee
Bee arrived to Foal Farm at the beginning of June with her sister Honey at just 5 months old. U p until they came to us they had been with all of their litter mates, during this time they also were not socialised and hadn’t experienced the outside world.
Although Bee is still very much a youngster, to have only experienced isolation with her litter mates at 5 months old, she has missed out on a lot of important training and socialisation.
Despite the bad start she has had in life, Bee is a very friendly girl who loves to meet everyone. She has been in kennels for such a long time at a tender age and this has understandably impacted her behaviour. She struggles with her self control at times and can be very bouncy, she also had a habit of mouthing. However, we have seen significant improvement with her behaviour and we are sure she will thrive once she is in a home.
Bee had only ever met her litter mates before and got on well with her sister Honey, h owever, she has no clue on how to interact with a new dog. We have been working with Bee and she copes much better with dogs at a distance and is able to go on a parallel walk with another. However she is still unsure and if a dog was to go into her personal space she would snap. Bee needs lots of ongoing training and socialising to learn that accepting a new dog isn’t as scary as she first thinks.
Bee is still so young and she does have a lot of potential but will need a very dedicated owner to help her. Bee really is a bundle of joy, she’s a typical youngster who is happy, bouncy and loving. She loves her food which will be helpful for training too.
We are seeking an older family home for Bee where she will be the only pet. She is such a sweet girl who will give you so much love, if you have the time and patience Bee needs to set her up for success for the rest of her life, please complete the online application.
