About Robin

Stunning lad Robin came to Foal Farm from the pound in December 2025. On arrival, Robin was very thin and a little wary but he has always been a sweet friendly lad.

We had rehomed Robin but after 10 days he was returned to us as the adopters felt he needed more than what they could give him. Having no background history, it came to light that Robin struggles when left alone and will require some help with his separation issues.

Robin is a very loving boy with a wonderful nature, he will make the perfect companion. He loves nothing more than being with people however, he also enjoys the company of other dogs. The more we have got to know Robin, we feel that a home where there is a existing dog(s) may help him with his separation issues. Cuddles are essential for Robin as he really is a very affectionate boy.

Typical to his breed he does have a high prey drive, the majority of the time he walks well on his lead but once he has spotted something of interest he will begin to pull.

We are seeking a family who are home for most of the day and have the time to commit to teaching Robin that it is okay to be alone at times. Robin needs adopters who can appreciate it can be challenging settling a rescue dog in a new environment but with time, patience and commitment we are sure Robin will begin to settle. Robin will keep his new family entertained with his zoomies, charging around with his toys and the all important belly rubs. He is an adorable lad who has so much love to give.
