Effie is a beautiful Border Collie, just over a year old, who is looking for a loving, active and dedicated forever home. Coming from a working background, Effie is an incredibly intelligent and clever young dog who learns very quickly and thrives when she has both physical exercise and plenty of mental stimulation. She absolutely loves people and is affectionate, eager to learn and full of the energy and enthusiasm you would expect from a young Collie. Effie is crate trained, travels well in the car and has lived happily with other dogs in the past. She has never met cats, so we are unsure how she would respond to them.

Re-homing Criteria – Effie would ideally suit an experienced or active home where someone has plenty of time to dedicate to her training, exercise and enrichment. She is a wonderful young dog with so much potential and, with the right commitment and guidance, we believe she will make a fantastic companion.

History – Effie is looking for a new home due to a change of circumstance for her previous owner.
