About Rae
A bouncy, loving guy with a heart of gold.
Rae is a playful boy with a cheeky side who enjoys rough play with his canine friends. He can be reserved when meeting new people, so any potential dog and human companion would need multiple meet-and-greets at the centre. Rae came to us as an unclaimed stray and is believed to have previously lived in a multi-dog kennel environment with very limited human interaction. He has made fantastic progress in our care, but he will need ongoing patience and understanding as he adjusts to home life.
Re-homing Criteria – Any potential adopter must be prepared to regularly visit the centre multiple times to develop a bond , for however long this would need, so please keep this in mind when applying especially if you are not local to the centre. •Experienced owners, ideally with large or under-socialised breeds •A calm, quiet home in a low-traffic area •Someone at home most of the time •A large, fully secure garden with solid fencing of at least 6ft (no mesh or wire) •A confident, well-socialised, neutered dog companion would be beneficial •Homes with older, sensible teenagers may be considered •No cats Rae will require adopters who are extremely patient and committed to continuing his training. Leaving the centre will be a completely new experience for him, and he will need time to feel safe and secure.
History – Rae came to us and an unclaimed stray.
