About Bernard
Bernard is a gentle and affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with the people he knows and trusts. Once comfortable, he enjoys close companionship and will happily lean in for fuss and attention, often nudging for more affection. His sweet nature makes him a rewarding companion for those willing to give him time to settle in.
Bernard would suit a calm home where he can continue building his confidence and enjoying a relaxed lifestyle. He is highly food-motivated, which can be a great asset when introducing him to new experiences and helping him learn. While he may be new to some aspects of home life, he has plenty of potential to thrive, given patient guidance and a consistent routine.
Bernard could potentially live with another dog, provided they are calm, well-socialised, and respectful of his space. With his affectionate personality and gentle approach to life, Bernard is sure to make a wonderful companion in the right home.
