- Female
- Breed
- English Bulldog
Good with
- Cats — yes: “Yes - I’ve lived with multiple cats before, and I’m also unfazed by the farm cats who roam around the site when I’m out on a lead walk. This is a positive sign, although any introductions to cats in a new home would need to be managed carefully.”
- Other dogs — yes: “Yes - I could potentially live with another dog. I previously lived with another female Bulldog, who sadly passed away recently. I’m also not fazed by other dogs I meet when out and about on my walks or when visiting the vets. I’m due to have a dog introduction with one of our staff member’s dogs soon, so we’ll hopefully know more about how I get on with a potential canine companion after that.”
- Children — yes: “Teenagers: Yes - I can live with teenagers! I’ve previously lived with children aged 12, so I’m familiar with having older children around.; Young children: Yes - I’ve previously lived in a home with younger children aged five and over, so I have experience of family life with little ones.”
About Bea-yonce
Bea is an amazing little Bulldog with such a BIG heart! 🥰
She absolutely ADORES cuddles and would happily spend her days snuggled up on your lap, soaking up all the love and attention you have to offer. She loves a good fuss, and if you dare to stop before she’s ready, you’ll soon hear about it! She’ll give you a little bork to remind you that she’s not quite finished with her cuddles just yet!
Bea is a little madam with a big personality, and it’s safe to say she’s completely stolen everyone’s hearts here!
She really is such an easy girl to care for and a true little cuddle bug. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will happily keep your lap warm and fill your days with affection, Bea could be the perfect girl for you ❤️
Not everyone can offer a forever home – but you can still change Bea-yonce’s life, and the lives of many more animals like them.
By donating to All Creatures Great and Small, you’re helping us provide food, shelter, veterinary care, and round-the-clock love to animals who’ve lost everything. Bea-yonce’s story is just one of many – but with your support, none of them have to face it alone.

Every pound makes a difference. Every life is worth it.
Do I have any medical issues? Yes - I’ve had a full health check at the vets, and I’m now awaiting booking for my BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) surgery. I’ve received my first vaccination, and my second is due on 28th October 2026. I also need to be spayed. The vets have advised that this may be possible at the same time as my BOAS surgery. The team will update my profile as soon as they have more information.
Am I good on the lead? Yes - I’m a dream on the lead! As a Bulldog, I’m not built for running marathons or climbing mountains, and I much prefer a leisurely stroll around the block or a little wander to a dog-friendly café. At the moment, I’m having two 15-minute walks a day, which is all I can comfortably manage. Once I’ve had my BOAS surgery and recovered, I should hopefully be able to enjoy slightly longer walks, following the vets’ advice. I’m looking for a home that understands my needs and is happy to enjoy life at a more relaxed pace with me.
Do I have any fears? I can be a little shy if people rush around me. I much prefer a gentle, calm and patient approach, allowing me time to feel comfortable and secure.
What are my exercise requirements? I enjoy short, leisurely walks, ideally 2–3 times a day for around 10–15 minutes each. My exercise needs will depend on how successful my BOAS surgery is and how well I recover, so I’ll need my new family to be mindful of my limits and follow the vets’ advice. As a Bulldog, I can struggle in warmer weather and am particularly vulnerable to overheating and heatstroke. During the spring and summer months, my walks will need to be carefully managed in line with veterinary advice, as I can still be susceptible to heatstroke even after my BOAS surgery. My health and comfort will always need to come first, so I’ll need a family who understands my breed’s needs and is happy to adapt our walks around the weather.
