About Ripley
Ripley was admitted into our care as an abandoned stray kitten who was suffering from cat flu. After several weeks of treatment, Ripley has recovered well and is ready to find himself a new home.
He is a very sweet boy who has a gentle personality. He is initially quite shy and nervous, but has started to slowly come out of his shell and shown our team his curious personality. He has a playful and curious nature, and enjoys spending time playing with his toys, getting gentle head rubs and watching the world go by.
Ripley can still be wary of new people and new environments, so we believe he would be best suited to a family who are around most of the day to help with his settling period in the home, providing him with hiding places around the house so he can feel safe. He really loves interactive play, especially any teaser toys with feathers, so this would be a nice way for his new owners to build a relationship with him.
Due to his timid nature, he would suit a family who have experience with cats and would need to live in a quieter household with children over the age of 12 years old , who understand that he will need time to settle into his new home.
It is unknown how he would react around other pets in the home.
