Their cats live with foster carers or in boarding, so you meet Dash & Dot after applying rather than by visiting.

Dash & Dot are no longer on Silk Cat Rescue's website. We noticed on 2 November 2026. That usually means they've found a home.

About Dash & Dot

Other cats? Girls, yes if introduced properly; boys, unlikely. Old cats unlikely – they’ll be too full on!

Children? Fives and older should be fine.

How about dogs? Depends very much on the breed and previous exposure.

Indoor cat? No busy roads or other hazards within 100m, please.

Suitability? Almost all homes where they’ll get plenty of stimulation and love.

Dot and Dash came to us when they were eight weeks old – a home in Manchester had taken them in as new-borns along with their semi-feral mother. The had plenty of handling and attention but the family realised the commitment need to keep them and look after them properly. So they asked if we could help find them a new home together.

Dot and Dash have been in good health since they were born and a very well socialised – sure they are scared by new noises and smells but give them 10 seconds and they’re back to they usual, playful selves.

We think they will suit most homes where they will get the attention and love they deserve. They are not fussy about food (we don’t give them much choice) and are using their litter tray reliably.
