Shakira

About Shakira

Shakira came into our care as a protective super-mum, quite unsure of the big wide world and the people in it. Now that her kittens have graduated to their own homes, she has settled beautifully into cattery life and is ready to focus entirely on herself.

🎤 Her Personality

Shakira is a young, playful, and expressive soul. Once she gets to know you, she absolutely loves having a fuss made of her and will happily soak up your attention. However, she is a lady who knows her own mind and values her personal boundaries. If she feels overwhelmed or decides she has had enough, she isn’t afraid to hand out the odd "bash" to let you know. Because of this, she needs an understanding family who can read her body language and give her space when she asks for it.

🏡 Ideal Home Setup

• Adult-only home preferred: She may also thrive with patient, cat-savvy teenagers who understand when to give her space.

• Only pet: Shakira wants to be the solo star of your household and requires a home with no other dogs or cats.

• Patient owners: She needs a gentle, low-pressure environment where she can settle in at her own pace.

If you have the time, patience, and love to show Shakira that the world is a safe place, she will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, playfulness, and affection.
