About Stanley

This handsome 4-year-old boy is finding the busy cattery environment quite daunting and is still learning to feel safe in his surroundings. He generally chooses to retreat to a quiet hiding place, so we are allowing him plenty of time and space to adjust without overwhelming him.

Although we don’t know much about his background, he is thought to enjoy human company. As he becomes more settled and begins to feel secure, we hope to discover more about his character and what makes him happy. At present, his true personality is still a little bit of a mystery, so his future owners will need to be flexible on this whilst also being patient and understanding as he grows in confidence.

He is looking for a peaceful home with owners who will allow him to settle in his own time. He may take a while to come out of his shell, so a family who can respect his boundaries and let him make the first move would be ideal. An adult-only home would suit him best, although calm and considerate teenagers could be considered. He would also prefer to be the only pet, giving him a quiet environment where he can relax and feel secure.

When he is confident enough to venture outdoors, having access to a shed or garage for shelter would be beneficial, especially if he enjoys spending time outside.

This lovely boy deserves a chance to settle somewhere he can feel safe and understood. With a little patience, kindness and plenty of time to adjust, we hope he will blossom into a happy and more confident companion in a home of his own.
