Hey, Rufus here. I found myself at Pawprints after spending a lot of time living on the streets with no one caring for me. I met a nice couple who saw me and my condition and at last, wanted to find me help. I wasn’t so sure of the hoomans here when I landed, they took me to the vetty people for de-matting, neutering and to sort my sore teethies so it was a lot to take in but I’ve now realise they are nice people and they bring me chicken and treats! I now talk to them to let them know I want some attention! The vetty people said I am something called FIV+ which sounds a bit scary but really isn’t, the volunteers can talk about it with you if you haven’t heard of it before and it just means I need a little more TLC. I have an old injury which gives me a bit of a wobbly swag that the vets think has turned into arthritis so the volunteers are helping me feel more comfortable. I just need someone to believe in me and give me the time to get to know them and bond with them and in return I will make you the loyalist companion. An indoor home or one that has a catio/cat proofed garden would be purrfect for me so I can keep my joints nice and warm and get me stronger.
