Our sweet diva Greta is looking for her forever home! Greta has been in foster care for a long time now, originally surrendered to us a spicy lady, she's now one that loves to hang out with her humans, and even greets guests happily. She is easily won over by treats and will climb into a lap, be hand-fed & lay on her foster parent if it means she may get a treat out of it -- as long as all touch is on her terms. Greta is independent, which means she can be alone at home, but she prefers having company. She spends her time sitting/sleeping near her foster parent (on the couch, usually!), demanding to be fed and following her fosterer around the house. She is extremely vocal and loves chatting with her gentle, sweet meows. She doesn't play with toys so far, but will engage with puzzle feeders and other enrichment toys (as long as they're food based!). She does enjoy looking out of the window, so a safe space for her to have a lookout point would be nice for her. She likes to eat frequent small meals. We think a fairly quiet home, where someone is around most of the days, would be perfect for Greta. She might also do well with another friendly cat, if they are integrated well and slowly. She is currently fostered as a solo cat. Greta is very good about using her litter box and makes an announcement for it to be scooped up once she's done using it! We cannot wait to find a loving, patient, forever home for our sweet girl who has been through a lot and see her blossom!
