About Gingey

Despite an initial shy period, Gingey has grown into a charming young man, both loving and dopey in equal measure. This cat will do ANYTHING for treats, and it's the quickest way to his heart. Once he's gotten used to his new environment, he will regularly headbutt you to ask for head strokes and chin scratches, and (if you're scratching just right) he will perform one of his signature belly flops! He loves being around his people and will often wind through your legs, sit at your feet, or chill nearby on the sofa. He's not a lap cat just yet, but we think it's only a matter of time! His quiet and calm demeanour makes him the perfect pet for those who want cuddles and play, but also want their cat to be happily left alone during the workday. However, we would recommend that in the first few weeks in his new home, you maximise time with him to help him acclimatise. Gingey has experienced many upheavals in his life, and needs a quiet, stable environment to truly thrive. Because of this, Gingey is best placed in a home without young children or other pets. He truly is an incredible boy, and we promise that once you've cracked his shell he is the warmest and most wonderful cat!
