Shadow came to Holly Hedge after a sudden change in circumstances left him looking for a new place to call home. He is a sweet, gentle boy who is understandably feeling overwhelmed by cattery life after having his entire world turned upside down. Right now, he prefers to keep to himself, hiding away when new people visit or quietly watching the world go by from his safe spot at the top of his cosy cat tree.

Behind his quiet nature is a loving companion waiting to emerge. Shadow is capable of building deep bonds and growing in confidence once he feels secure, and he truly enjoys affection and attention from his trusted carers. To help him flourish, Shadow needs a peaceful, adult only home with no other pets where he can learn to feel safe at his own pace, completely free from any pressure. With patience, warmth, and time, he will surely blossom into a devoted companion. If you have a quiet home and a gentle heart, you could be the person to bring light back into Shadow’s life.
