About Rusty

Rusty came to us from a multi-cat household after his owner was being evicted and could not take him.

This sweet lad is incredibly overwhelmed at the moment and is yet to venture down from his cat tree. Rusty is a very shy boy and has spent the last few weeks hiding during the day. He does enjoy a chin and ear scratch, but you have to climb up to his level.

Rusty is really struggling to adjust to life here but we are giving him all the time he needs to find his feet. What we do know is that he is a gentle, quiet boy, but we are hoping his personality will blossom soon so we can find him his perfect match. Rusty will need a quiet home, with understanding adopters who want to help Rusty feel safe and loved. We feel as though Rusty’s true personality might not come out whilst in our care so any adopters will need to understand this.

We are still assessing whether Rusty would like to live with Barnaby. He is currently living alongside his brothers but we are yet to see Rusty interact with them. We do know Barnaby loves his brothers, so Rusty may be looking for a home with him.

Any home would need to be away from busy roads, with access to a secure garden as Rusty has previously been an outdoor cat. He would need to be kept indoors overnight.
