Meet Percy and his lovely mum, Serena. They’re still waiting for someone to look beyond their shyness and give them the chance they deserve. 🥹

🐈‍⬛ 💚 Percy — our gentle, shy boy

Percy is a sweet, sensitive little boy who is slowly coming out of his shell. ❤️

Watching his confidence grow has been so rewarding, and we know there’s so much more of his personality waiting to shine through. He just needs someone willing to give him the time and patience to get there.

Percy is 20 weeks old now and neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. 🐾

🐈‍⬛ 🖤 Serena — the gentle, chatty mum

Serena is around 1–2 years old and has been a wonderful mum to her kittens. She’s a calm, gentle girl who loves her food and certainly isn’t shy about letting you know when dinner is late! 😹

She has a cautious nature around new people and may take a little time to feel comfortable, but there’s something so lovely about her quiet presence. She isn’t a lap cat, but she enjoys sitting beside her foster parents and watching the world go by from a window. ❤️

Serena is already neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. 🐾

💕 Why do they need to stay together?

Percy and Serena share a particularly special bond, and we would love to see them find a home where they can continue to feel safe together. Serena is an important part of Percy’s world, and we want them both to enjoy the security of a familiar face as they settle into their new life.

🏡 The home they need

These two need a calm, patient and understanding home where they can settle at their own pace.

They may hide or run away when meeting new people, so they’re unlikely to be the cats who rush over to greet visitors. Please don’t mistake their shyness for rejection. They simply need time to feel safe and learn to trust.

✨ They need to be the only cats in the home, with their own space to settle and grow in confidence.

🌿 We’re looking for a loving home with safe outdoor access to a private garden away from busy roads. Indoor homes may be considered for this pair.

🖤 We know that shy black cats can be overlooked, but Percy and Serena deserve just as much love and happiness as any other cats. They’ve already come such a long way, and we believe that with the right person, their confidence will continue to blossom.

They don’t need someone to change them. They need someone to understand them. 🥹❤️
