And who could resist when that belly belongs to Mr Darcy? Our gorgeous 20-month-old grey tabby and true gentleman is hoping to find a loving forever home where he can feel safe, settled and truly adored. 🏡❤️

✨ Soft as a Persian rug and handsome enough to rival his namesake, Mr Darcy is a gentle, shy boy who needs a patient, peaceful and understanding home where he can relax, feel safe and settle into life at his own pace.

Mr Darcy was found with a broken toe. Although he has recovered wonderfully, his foot remains slightly crooked and he has the tiniest of limps. Thankfully, this doesn’t affect his mobility — he’ll still happily run laps around you! 😹

💙 Shy and reticent around strangers, and likely to hide until he feels comfortable

💙 Once he trusts you, he is loving, playful and wonderfully affectionate

💙 Loves soft headbutts and even enjoys wrestling with your clothes while you’re still wearing them! 😹

💙 Enjoys climbing and playing with people he trusts

💙 Absolutely LOVES exploring the great outdoors 🌿

💙 A secure garden with access through a cat flap is essential

💙 Has a sensitive tummy, so he needs an appropriate diet

💙 Can live with other cats, although he would personally prefer to be the only pet in the home

A calm and loving environment with someone who understands that shy cats need time, patience and plenty of reassurance.
