Good with
- Other cats — no: “No - Fable’s previous owners advised against her living with other cats, as her behaviour significantly changed after her sister's passing. When other cats were around, Fable would refuse to enter the home, seek food elsewhere, and avoid the house entirely. She has been known to share outdoor spaces with cats without issue but for this reason, we recommend that she be rehomed as the sole cat in the household.”

About Fable
Fable is a shy, sweet girl who prefers not to be handled too much. From our observations, she tends to approach you when she’s ready. Her previous owner mentioned that she enjoys chin scratches and can be quite playful with toys when she’s in the mood!
Not everyone can offer a forever home – but you can still change Fable’s life, and the lives of many more animals like them.
By donating to All Creatures Great and Small, you’re helping us provide food, shelter, veterinary care, and round-the-clock love to animals who’ve lost everything. Fable’s story is just one of many – but with your support, none of them have to face it alone.
Your gift today helps us keep the kennel doors open, the blankets warm, and hope alive.

Every pound makes a difference. Every life is worth it.
Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Fable has a hypersensitivity to flea dirt, resulting in a heightened flea allergy. Since being in our care, she has been treated for fleas, and the bald spots on her back end, legs, and around her eyes are beginning to improve. We believe her over grooming was also linked to this issue, along with stress. Potential adopters should be aware of this condition. Fable is fully vaccinated with her next booster due on the 15th July 2027.
Can I live as an indoor cat? No - Fable has always had access to the outdoor & apparently loves exploring!
